Athlete and WildAid ambassador for Africa and lions
In Kenya, Julius Yego is affectionately called Mr. YouTube man because he learned to throw the javelin from watching videos online. Since then, Yego, who became the first prominent field athlete in a country more renowned for its track talent, has won both the African Championships in 2014 and the World Championships in 2015. At the Rio Olympics in 2016, he won the silver medal.
