Actress and WildAid ambassador for elephants
'Mai’ Davika Hoorne, is Thailand’s most successful actress of her generation and an international fashion icon. She is the lead actress of Thailand’s highest grossing film of all time, “Pee-mak”. Most recently, she walked the runway and represented Thailand at Paris Fashion week and was dubbed as the most compelling newcomer at 2018’s Milan Fashion week by Vogue. Davika has a deep affinity for elephants (a shared passion between her and her mother.) Davika joined WildAid as Thailand’s ambassador for the #IvoryFree campaign in October 2018 and endorses the message: “Ivory is beautiful only on elephants”, dissuading consumers to never buy, use or accept ivory as a gift.
