Bevis Mugabi, Ugandan footballer and wildlife advocate
Bevis Kristofer Kizito Mugabi is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Carlisle United and has represented the Uganda Cranes since making his debut in 2018. He has previously played in the English Football League for Yeovil Town and in the Scottish Premiership for Motherwell. Bevis believes that footballers like himself should use their platform to help causes and he has been passionate about giving back to his homeland of Uganda. He has been working with WildAid since 2022 to help protect Uganda’s iconic wildlife.
