Actress and WildAid ambassador for elephants
Kathaleeya “Mam” McIntosh is a renowned Thai actress, television host and mother of three children. Her first campaign for WildAid recognized the importance of elephants and celebrated their powerful maternal instincts. The #PickMomUp challenge encouraged the public to say no to ivory and to celebrate the motherhood bond that many elephants and humans share. The challenge asked Thais to post on social media images and videos showing them lifting up their mothers.
