Athlete and WildAid ambassador for rhinos, elephants and sharks
David Beckham is a former soccer superstar, having played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy, and the England national team. Beckham was team captain for 7 years, and throughout his career won many awards including the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award, multiple ESPY Awards for Best MLS Player, and the Premier League’s Goal of the Decade award for his famous goal against Wimbledon in 1996. Beckham has supported UNICEF as a Goodwill Ambassador with a focus on the Sports for Development program, as well as Unite for Children, Unite Against AIDS and the Malaria No More UK Leadership Council. Beckham teamed up with HRH Prince Willam to launch the United for Wildlife campaign, which aims to raise awareness of conservation issues around the world.
