On World Pangolin Day, WildAid CEO Peter Knights spoke with CNN’s Natalie Allen about the illegal pangolin trade and the dangers of wildlife markets. The Chinese government has been using the slogan, ‘no trading no killing,’ a variation of ‘When the Buying Stops, the Killing Can Too,’ to encourage people to stop wild animal consumption. Working with our partners in media and the government, we will continue to amplify messages in China and Vietnam to end the consumption of pangolin meat and scales, establishing this a societal norm.
