Interview with Peter Knights, CEO at WildAid on his five favorite wild animals.

“I love leopards. They’re totally beautiful. Leopards, to me, are like the supreme animal. They don’t have the advantage of a lion pride; they’re on their own. They’re super-strong, super-agile, super-fast. They’re like the Ferrari of the wildlife world.

I love photographing leopards, although they’re not easy to get photos of. You’re lucky if you see a leopard on safari. They’re elusive. I’ve had one nearly come through our safari vehicle one time. It stopped and I thought it was going to climb into the vehicle.

They’re just gorgeous animals. I’m always excited when I see them.
